i'm doing a major work based around body image and different cultures' views of "perfection", if anyone has seen deviations/poems/books/external sites that could help with my research please comment

random fact I was thinking of: cencorship nowadays, diferences between american and britain.
take a look at comedic shows like monty python/the goodies- the goodies esspecially, a childrens show, which had frequent nudity. unfortunately my meory is at a haze, but when america was being colonised.... the settlers saw the naked women as some form of tribal sluts because they had nothing on their upper body.. sorry I can't fill that detail, but for some specific reason those settlers began this distinct view of women that contradicted the common britain, which as we see from those comedic shows and other media, was perhaps 'open' or 'comical' where as the settlers for america adopted this different opinion on that.
